Biomarcadores para el diagnóstico/clasificación de enfermedades, pronóstico y gestión terapéutica: Este paquete de trabajo abordará el proceso de validación de varios biomarcadores previamente asociados con el diagnóstico de una determinada enfermedad o subconjunto de enfermedades; el pronóstico y/o el desarrollo de complicaciones relacionadas con la enfermedad u otras manifestaciones, como las comorbilidades; y diferentes aspectos de la gestión terapéutica, como la eficacia del tratamiento a corto/largo plazo, la tolerancia o el riesgo de acontecimientos adversos.
